Maintenance I forgot
This past weekend we went out for our continuing quest to visit every state park in Tennessee. and other than the fuel pump trying to die on me it was a great trip we went to David Crockett State Park. On Monday when we were packing up, my right front jack would not retract all the way up so the light stayed on saying the jack was still down. Of course i recycled it a few times but the light would not go off. after visually checking it more that once that it was all the way up we headed home.
Of course I cannot leave something like this alone so I started checking I thought the switch had stopped working. I noted that the foot was not level stopping the jack about 1/4 in short. I had forgot to oil the swivel joint and the rust would not let it move.
letting penetrating fluid work for three day and now the foot moves again.
Its now added to my monthly check list.
New fuel pump should be here Friday, could only get 20 PSI form the old one even with a new filter. But it did not strand me, kept enough fuel flowing to get us home.
