Manufacturers of Class C 24-foot Motorhomes

My husband and I are currently on our dream cross-country trip, but our truck camper is failing us, as it has been over the last couple of years.

We're thinking we might just go to an RV dealer and trade in our current rig for a new motorhome. While waiting for our truck to be repaired, I've been researching Class C motorhomes on line, but I can't find real reviews, and we don't even know which manufacturers make excellent motorhomes for around $80,000 or less.

For example, I've looked at listings for Winnebago Access and Aspect and Coachmen Freelander. They all look like they might be in the right price range, but we don't know if these manufacturers produce excellent quality motorhomes. If we buy one, and then find out that "oh, everybody knows that such-and-such manufacturer makes pieces of junk", we'd be sunk.

So, my question is: which manufacturers of "reasonably price" Class C motorhomes are considered excellent?

For anyone who would recommend particular models (which we would also appreciate!), I'll add that we want the unit to be about 24 feet, with a queen bed, and lots and lots of storage. A slideout dining area/couch would be nice but is not necessary. We don't particularly want high end finishes -- no fancy wood or leather seats.

Thanks in advance!

Four Winds makes a 24' model with a slideout but the bed is not a queen:

The 24' Winnebago has a queen bed but no slideout:

Winnebago makes a better product than most other brands. Good luck!
