Map Lamps In-op 02 Bounder

NTM 02 Bounder 34d. The map lights (above dash on either side of fans & BU camera monitor) will not come on. They have power, but no ground. When I use an aux ground they light up & when removed and connected to an aux 12 volt power & ground they work. I am curious if there may be a switch somewhere that needs to be switched, that I am unaware of. Any help would be appreciated.

    Those Chassis engineers, They were really tricky guys. No telling what else you will find!!!

    BTW Chevy Workhorse Chassis - It was the headlight switch. I have to turn it to the "dome lamp" position & they work. Thank you all for your quick feedback. I would have felt really silly taking everything apart to run a separate ground.

    When you find the switch, remember that the wire to the lights will be the hot side. My guess is the dimmer switch for the dash lights. The map lights probably will dim with the dash lights. Let us know when you find out.

    Ford Chassis rotate the dimmer switch until it clicks....
