Mass Air Flow Sensor

Not a MAF sensor but a comment on dealer technicians.
I had two problems. One the dealer said nothing was wrong (They had put a repubit engine) and it was the engine rebuilders part.. Turns out the idiot mechanic had forgot to hook up a sensor.. A very important sensor. Last I heard he was selling shoes.
The other one was brakes. THis car had front Disc. Rear Drum (Same car by the way) and the pedal had excessive travel. 3 times the Dealer could not find the problem.
Finally I put my mind on the task.. Sitting at work in my "Down time" (Job had some down time) I visualized the breaking system.. next day I went not to the car dealer but my tire guy (They do brakes too) gave a specific instruction and the brakes were good as new. in fact they were new. But 100% no more excessive pedal travel.
And I did it "Hands off".. no less.
THe moral.. sometimes you need to find a better mechanic.
