Master Electronic control Solenoid

Question

I have a 1999 pace arrow. the only way i can crank the pace arrow is by touching the solenod with a screw driver.  When I remove the screwdrive the engine dies and there is no power on the panel.  I have checked and cleaned all of the batter cable connections. My question is do you think the problem would be the master electronic control 4412 solenoid.

What are you doing with the screw driver when you touch the solenoid, shorting terminals?

I guess the solenoid is inside a black box that is connected to the fuses.  I am connecting the wires outside of the black box with the screwdriver

quick question  how could i tell if the starter solenoid is bad

Did you turn on the 2 switches, above the entrance door? They control the 2 relays in the Battery Control Center.Richard

I think they may already be on the rv just stop but I will check
