if you're not a fulltimer check out State Farm as well. we've had SF for years and have been very happy with them.

Erie doesn't write insurance in NJ.

Would never buy Erie. They paid out $200 for "towing", on our boat that sank in a slip after 15 years of paying premiums for full coverage. On doing a search we found out they aren't known for paying on losses. Needless to say we're not Erie customers or customer of that agent any more.

Have had good luck with Blue Sky RV Insurance. They only do RV's and are write policies in most states.

Huh? Erie paid us full value on a barn $40K and replacement on machinery for 2 tractors, 1 finish mower, generator, log splitter and equipment destroyed in the barn. However if you are former military you are eligible for USAA

I have safeco thru Liberty Mutual...they are good rates and good insurance!

I do not believe that Erie provides "RV or Motorhome Insurance", and I do not believe they are licensed to operate in NJ. They do cover my motorhome on my regular vehicle insurance. Have been a very long time and happy customer of theirs. And Erie has not given me any surprise rate increases like I hear of other companies doing. And Erie's customer service rating according to JD Power is right up there with the best of them!

Been with them for going on 2 years now. I had a claim last year when power lines fell on our RV due to a DUI driver. They did a good job keeping on the DUI driver's insurance for over 7 months to get their & my money back. They worked well with my dealer and had the repairs and payment done in a couple of weeks. In the end no rate increase to speak of, and a good experience working with them. I'd recommend them.

I have Geico Insurance and I get good rates and good service from them! I don't know if your aware of it or not but, Insurance rates differ from State to State. That's why I don't throw insurance rates out there. Good Luck in your insurance search!

Erie covers my motorhome under my auto policy. My Norcold fridge caught fire and Erie sent me a check for $4800 for fridge replacement. I have $100 deductible. I pay ~$350 for motorhome coverage.

Erie is the only insurance I've ever had. Been with them since I turned 16 years of age. That's 52 years with Erie and the same insurance agency.

I also have my home owners policy with them.

I'll add, according to Erie's website, they do not sell insurance in NJ.
