My first experience with 3M 5200 was when I installed a thru haul, stainless, water intake in the bottom of an off shore fishing boat. 1 year later, I attempted to remove that same fitting. While removing the fitting, I ended uptaking a good part of the fiberglass with it. I have also used it on 2 different motorhomes to attach the fenders to the frame around the wheel well on one and the hood to the hinge arm on the other. Never came loose.
Tip: I keep the unused portion in a large freezer bag, in my freezer. That trick extends the shelf life to well over a year
