MH Licensing costs in NV, AZ and Utah?

To get that 'special' rate in Arizona, you have to have one of two things:

1. Know the "secret" handshake at the time of registration...or

2. Be related to Sheriff Joe...:E

Each vehicle owner must pay a registration fee at the time of initial registration and annually thereafter. The fee varies depending on vehicle type, registered weight, county, and other factors. To find out the exact fee for your particular vehicle, please call the DMV at 801-297-7780 or 1-800-DMV-UTAH (800-368-8824). Uniform fees also apply.

Too many variables. County, weight, age of vehicle. The older the vehicle, the less expensive the registration. Give 'em a call. I used to live in California. The DMV in Utah does not compare to California. You show up, do your thing, and in 15 minutes you're done. You bring all your documents, you leave with plates and stickers. The people that work there are generally friendly and willing to help.

Of note, Utah requires Safety inspections annually. Depending on the county, also emissions (less strict than CA).

I can't offer any insight to AZ and UT, but here in NV in you will be charged a Government Services Tax which is based on the MSRP of your coach and decreases each year. When we first moved here in 2010 the tax on my 2009 coach was ~$3,000. For 2013 it was $2,200.

NV does not have a state income tax so that should be taken into consideration in your overall evaluation.

3. Yea, I'll call DMV and work through the nightmare as you called it to get your DMV questions answered. All I need will be all of your personal information, year make and model of MH, the tax exemptions you qualify for, and the address of residency where you plan to live in each state to include the borough, municipality, and county.:h

All of that should be available on line from each DMV.

Wouldn't it be easier and more accurate to just call the motor vehicle department in those states and ask them.
