So the mouse that gets stuck gets to starve to death while tearing out fur trying to get away? Seems like a simple spring trap that kills instantly would be more humane...and re-useable.
Also, mice can't burp. If you put a little bit of carbinated beverage in a container, they will drink, and since they can not burp, their insides will rupture and they die... Down side is that you will have to find them afterwards.
