Michelin Tire Issue

If any Goodyear Tire outlet told me that they would sell me the tires but refuse to warrant them I would be on the phone to Goodyear real quick. Also any other tire dealer in the same circumstances would get the same response! Why are these people selling tires that they obviously consider inferior and not worthy of warranty by them. In most cases they would be compensated by the manufacturer unless that manufacturer is willing to admit that they were selling tires that were expected to fail prematurely.
