Without knowing what the regulations are for any other controlled access roadway I can only then state that the NJTPK Commission would not allow AAA to respond. Period. I was in a safe place, albeit in between 6 lanes of travel in a cross over.
Friends had a wheel fall off and axle damage on the PA Turnpike and their situation was more serious of course. The PA Turnpike Commission sent out a roll back tow for a 32' Class C. That caused damage to the frame as well as issues to the interior. Clearly a heavy duty tow was needed.
