I had all 7 of my just replaced last week. "Tire Fair" offered me any replacement tire that was made by Michelin which includes BFgoodrich and Uniroyal. The OEM tires were on at least a 7 week back order status.....so I took the "upgrade" Michelin LTX A-T2. which was described as a "Little more aggressive tire". I read reviews off the tire on several different sites and it got very good ratings. I've put 900 miles on them since installed and am so far pleased. They aren't noisier than the OEM tire and seem to be a slightly softer ride. I just hope the infamous sidewalls hold up. Time will tell.
You may need to be a little more assertive when talking to the tire salesperson.I was first told there was a 7 to 8 week back order. When I told them I was going on a trip in a week and that I'd sure hate to have a blowout of a recalled tire and cause damage and,or injury due to tires being on backorder he called me back within 30 minutes with 3 different tire choices for me to choose from. I'm very pleased with my 7 replacement tires.....No Cost.
