I use WAZE on my phone - its better than a GPS (or MS S&T) - it takes into account REALTIME traffic feeds & because it's CROWD Sourced other users can report & alert you to objects in the road, speed traps & traffic tie-ups.
WAZE will provide alternative routing in the event of grid lock or construction.
it allows users (crowd sourced) to report WEATHER conditions as well !
You can even use it to find the cheapest fuel along your route.
One feature i like in particular is that i don't have to know the address of a location just the NAME of the campground, restaurant, grocery store, etc - type in as much as i know and it will find it or offer suggestions with similar names....once i have the location i need, its a matter of selecting it & saying "GO" to route me there.
