Completely wrong, another wives tale with no basis in fact.
Most rental companies have a standard rotation policy of 3 or 5 years this is based on the rate of return for the capital outlay they are getting along with having newer units to rent. Among other things.Not when they are starting to have problems.
I would not expect nearly the longevity out of a privately owned coach as I would a vehicle with regular, quality fleet maintenance.
Most of the newer vehicles on the road today will easily go 200,000 miles or more with the proper maintenance.
This is one reason you will find not one complaint in all of the posts to the thread that is in my signature.
I have yet to hear someone say, 'I bought this ex-rental unit and really got screwed. I'll never do that again.....'
