What an interesting thread. I really salute IAMICHABOD for his Chevy Class C passion and his support for used rental units. One thing I learned here is that the consignment lots are not a good place to shop There seems to be a season for selling used RVs, at the end of the camping season. I also will probably not buy a new unit so as to not take the hit on the depreciation. As the OP suggests the price for used vehicles gets higher as they are newer, in better shape and have lower mileage. My question to all of you is where the best city to purchase a great used RV would be. I figure Phoenix, Houston or maybe Southern California. Florida is a little to far. I will have to fly from Hawaii to shop and will have some leads and a limited amount of time. Hope I didn't stray to far from the tread.
