I am not going to go in to mileage but address your question from a different view point. If you have 4 - 6 V batteries you should not have to run the generator much to stay warm and cozy if trapped during a snow storm. Running the lights, heater, reefer and water heater will burn a bit of propane but not that much battery. You will probably be able to recharge the batteries with a couple of hours of generator run time every 24 hours unless you want to run a TV and Sat dish full time off of the inverter. If you read and don't mind sitting with a sweater or sweat shirt on 4 6Vs will be more than enough to keep you alive in a snow storm.
