Silvercorvette, a Prevost is the 'shell' and chassis of the coach, just like a Greyhound bus. The shells are converted by several 'converter's' such as Liberty Coach, Millennium and Marathon. Each converter does things a little differently but all are considered very high quality. Each one is custom painted and made with the highest quality materials.
If you have never heard of a Prevost, they are the Rolls Royce of coaches. Before you ever even think about one, you need to read everything that you can. You will be sold.
Monaco Coach converted Prevost's, they are called Royale coaches. Country Coach also converted a Prevost shell and simply called County Coaches (no special name). Both of these brands are sought after as their system are considered a little more simple along with other components. Sometimes 'simple' is better.
There is a 2006 Prevost Royale Coach that has just come on the market with many upgrades with only 47,000 miles and they are asking $425,000. Take a look on www.prevostcommunity.com.
Prevost used two chassis's, the XL and H3. The main differences is that the XL coaches have the driver's and passenger's seat on the same level as the living room. The H3 chassis has the living room a couple of steps higher than the driver's area. Which means, that those seats cannot be part of the living room seating.
