Silvercorvette, a Prevost is the 'shell' and chassis of the coach, just like a Greyhound bus. The shells are converted by several 'converter's' such as Liberty Coach, Millennium and Marathon. Each converter does things a little differently but all are considered very high quality. Each one is custom painted and made with the highest quality materials.
If you have never heard of a Prevost, they are the Rolls Royce of coaches. Before you ever even think about one, you need to read everything that you can. You will be sold.
Monaco Coach converted Prevost's, they are called Royale coaches. Country Coach also converted a Prevost shell and simply called County Coaches (no special name). Both of these brands are sought after as their system are considered a little more simple along with other components. Sometimes 'simple' is better.
There is a 2006 Prevost Royale Coach that has just come on the market with many upgrades with only 47,000 miles and they are asking $425,000. Take a look on www.prevostcommunity.com.
Prevost used two chassis's, the XL and H3. The main differences is that the XL coaches have the driver's and passenger's seat on the same level as the living room. The H3 chassis has the living room a couple of steps higher than the driver's area. Which means, that those seats cannot be part of the living room seating.

I am really excited about the Prevost it seems perfect but I have two problems.
#1 I am leaving on or about the 20 for a trip to AZ and will be back in time to send Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach so I need an RV (any RV 5th wheel or motor home on the 20th)
#2 Is money. I can scrape together between $100,000 and $150,000 cash plus whatever my 2014 Silverado is worth with 6,000 miles. Plus what ever my 2009 33 foot Alumascape is worth. But that leaves me with no cash safety net to fall back on. My 1962 Corvette and the 2014 Vette is paid for but it could take weeks or over a months to sell them. These are all things worth a lot of money but impossible to sell quickly I don't want to put myself in a situation where I put down all my cash as a downpayment but won't have a safety net
If my truck and current RV can be used as a downpayment maybe I can live on my savings and pension while I am waiting to sell me cars and other possessions that will no longer need I am afraid to make a large purchase until I have sold my house. In the mean time I am going to count my pennies and decide if I can risk making a large purchase before the house is sold
