Thanks for the link. Back in the early 1980s I went on a 6 week cross country trip pulling a small camper (I am guessing about 18 feet long) with a 1980 International Scout Diesel 6 cylinder. I was doing fine until I had to climb a mountain going into Yellowstone. This was over 30 years ago so I do not recall the route but I think it was big bear or big horn mountain going int Yellow stone from the east. It took what seemed like hours getting over the mountain doing about 10 to 20 MPH dropping down to second gear. was sure the Scout would have enough power, and it was fine on the flats but it was terrible climbing a mountain.
I have found memories of that trip, there was no A/C TV, no water pump, and you had to light up the heater with a match but it was a great fun.
