The problem in the basement is air flow. The compartment is likely to heat up fast. Putting it inside the coach may be a better idea.
You might consider replacing the RV fridge with a residential refrigerator. If you are on grid 99%, you will not have issues. If you are long long driving trips, you may need to run the genny for a short period. Not opening the doors will help in this.
If off grid you would need to add batteries.
