The inside of my cover is 17' wide.
I park the rv in the middle.
With slides out on one side, I have 2' clearance to get around.
On the other side, I have about 5' of clearance.
I would not want less room.
I don't remember how wide the door is (15 or 16' wide), but it is more than enough for me.
Also, I painted a white stripe on the driver side floor for me to line up with on the driver side when parking.
Makes parking straight very easy.
