Minnie Winnie cab power issue

I bought a 2004 Minnie Winnie a week ago. Am figuring out as I go along. Yesterday the cab part of the rig lost power. Can not lock the doors, start the rig, etc. Do not know where to start to figure out what's going on?

We have had lots of RV's in the past, but I am doing this alone for the first time. Understand the difference in house and car power and this is NOT the house part - everything there is working fine.

Any suggestions for a newbie?

Not his house 120v AC circuits. His 12v DC circuits in the cab.
  • Have you checked out all your circuit breakers (especially the GFI type) and all the fuses?
  • Thank you for this - feel foolish that I didn't even think of it?? Pouring rain, but as soon as it stops I'll put a charger on it. Have a lot to learn.

Have you done any work on it?
If Battery is Charged, check Cable Connections. When you do this don't ignore the Ground Cable.
If Battery is low, don't make the starter struggle. Charge battery, jump start, new battery. Anything but cranking on low voltage. Too easy to damage the starter.
  • Your chassis battery is probably dead. While Holding in the Aux Start switch does anything work then?
