Monaco dynasty frame/suspension failure with pictures

Monaco won't pay for it.....:W....before and after pictures posted here and on IRV2 would certainly be helpful.....Dennis

Was the damage due to towing? Or just age?

"X" brace between broken brackets.

Both sides are broke. They are not broken at the weld. Passenger side has been broke for awhile, has some surface rust at break. Shop wants to replace with thicker material, it is 3/8ths thick square tubing now. They will start cutting them out tomorrow. These two brackets carry all the load from the lower torque arms. Does anybody else have this problem?

Thanks for posting pictures. I crawled under mine tonight and all is fine but I have half the miles on mine. I cannot tell if the passenger side is broken all the way around or is the inside still intact? I can understand why the X brace broke (in the weld) once the side arm broke. The torque from braking and accelerating is controlled by these trailing arms so have you had to get on your brakes really hard very often? BUT the way they have broken looks to me like it was from side to side force??? I would check the bushing in the drag link that controls side to side movement of the drive axle.
Since I plan on keeping my Dynasty for many more years I may get motivated to weld 1/2' by 2" flat stock to the front of these tubes at the front or back in the broken area or may a V to the outside.

Ivylog.... I know you need a 2008 Dynasty..... why put it off....both of us are not getting any younger. LOL!
