With my Monaco coach I base my decision on what the site conditions dictate. It is nice to only park on level sites but if you boonedock, or even in some RV parks, if the site is way out of level, I do things differently. Rather than push a slide uphill, I will level the coach first, and then extend the slide.
Very true. We have been in some RV Resorts that have been less level the when boondocking. One that comes to mine is Zephyr Cove Resort. Had to scrounge some more blocks to get level. No matter how solid your frame, if you are un-level, it will twist and flex. It may not be much, but it will, and if you park it that way, you could be putting a twist in the frame that may not straighten out. Do what you want, but use common sense.
