I wouldn't mind seeing the Hilux chassis models back in the US. For a short "C", they could get MPG ratings that not even the latest vans can nail these days. Now, they were not exactly speed-demons, but they did the job quite well.
No thanks, I would rather have a RV built on a
US MADE Chassis Be it CHEVY or Ford or any of the others.
While Australia has to import their chassis for the RV market we have a large Chassis Building Industry to supply the many RV MFG's all dependent on sales in the
US and CANADA and as long as we support that market it will stay strong and continue to grow towards a more efficient and quality product.
