If you tow a car you will have to hitch it up.

I agree. Even with a stiff-arm towbar it is easier to hook up a towed vehicle than it is a travel trailer! the same goes for using a dolly to tow a vehicle. Much easier than connecting a trailer, IMO.
Yeah, been there, did that.
We like our motorhome.
However, now that we have two ATVs, a toyhauler trailer is looking kind of interesting....

We had an Adventurer and a Suncruiser (same but different name) They were both great with very few problems. We put about 100,000 miles combined on them. Then we bought another Winnebago, a Journey which we drove for 75,000 miles again with few problems. They make good RVs.

Have someone knowledgable evaluate your hitch/unhitch method. It isn't a little much done right.

The Winnebago Adventurer has only the Chevy engine, correct? I'm partial to Ford and have a Ford Excursion right now. The idea of going Chevy kinda bugs me.

Don't believe the hype.....a motorhome is MUCH easier to set up. Especially if the TOAD is 4 down. It takes no time when you stop to push a few buttons, plug in, and unhook the TOAD. Some cases I don't even unhook until I have had a beer and relaxed.

I went camping once with a friend with a TT. We got through the line at the office in front of him and he was no more than 3 minutes behind us getting to his site. I unhooked the toad, backed the motorhome in, leveled is, did all the hookups, and opened the slides, and still got over to his site to help him back his trailer in. Then I got a beer and sat at the table and watched him get his plastic blocks out to level it side to side, and then unhook and put away all the hitch parts, and then level it front to back, and then do the hookups, and then open his one slide. I'm a slow drinker so I was only on my second beer by the time he was set up.

We all think different..... good thing? I think a fifth-wheel is much easier to hitchup than a toad to a motorhome. But, for traveling I like the motorhome and toad combo. I am a widow, so do it all myself. I currently have a 31' fifthwheel and a 2500 HD CC LB truck. I found the BlueOx a lot easier to hook up than the Roadmaster Falcon when I had the MH.

There are 3 ways to tow a car. I've used all 3 at one time or another

Full trailer (Some cars need this)You need to be very careful lining up when you drive on, then you need to tie it down.. NOTE: Enclosed trailer = portable garage, However you may have to store it "off site".

Dolly, again you need to be careful driving on to get it straight or very close to it. And again Stow when parked.

4: down: Very easy hitch up, Very easy unhook, Only way to tow in my book.

Advantags of Class A over Trailer

When you go to drive your tow vehicle to the store.. What's the MPG
