Motorhome insurance in Ontario

Witch broker/insurance company are you with.

I am currently with Aviva Elite (Broker Wayfarer Insurance).

My Waiver of depreciation is now over and I am looking for the best quote. I got one from Echelon Insurance for $290.00 less (you have to be a member of Explorer magazine to get 10% discount without the discount the difference is $518.00) than Wayfarer but I am still not sure if I should switch. I never put any claims with Wayfarer but read a lot of good comments about their customer services.

Anyone have experience with echelon or any other broker you would recommend.

    One other note, I use echelon/Riders Plus for my motorcycle and got a MH quote when I last renewed and they were much more expensive. My group insurance through Cooperators for my automobiles was also way out there on price.

    I am currently with Aviva/Wayfarer as well but a friend of mine just switched to Dominion Insurance as the rates were much lower.

    In addition to the lower rates Dominion allows you to notify them when in storage and your rate coverage is reduced to comprehensive & liability which can save even more.

    I have no direct experience with them yet but I will get a quote when I renew in September. Might be worth checking out!

    Same as the VanStones, we have been with Wayfarer for 6yrs, no complaints at all. The one claim (broken glass) was handled very efficiently. Even our local insurance broker (car/house) recommends them because the SPECIALIZE in RVs.

    I've been with Wayfarer for the last 6 years as have most of my RVing buddies. No complaints, not one. i was even happy with their claims department.
