Motorhome Model Year Question

The motor home we looked at was located in FL not DE we were on vacation. It's roughly 1176 miles from the factory to the dealership according to Google maps. We were just not aware of how things are done in the RV world, just assumed it came to the dealer like any other new car on a trailer. They were saying it was a new unit and pricing it that way. We like this particular model but won't buy this unit, besides how dirty the generator bay was and the hours there was several other things on the outside that didn't look right.
