In another thread in another time and place I talk about NIKE shoes and someone else brought up a line of women's handbags.
In both cases the cost of manufacture is very low.. As low as 5-10 dollars. And the price tag in the store 150-250 dollars.....
I'm not trying to argue with you.. In fact I agree with you, which is why my last pair of tennies were Converse All Stars (at the time I bought 'em, 10 bucks at Big Lots, I think they are up to around a quarter now (25 bucks) but that is a reasonable price.. I might add, when I got my last pair (I dont' wear tennies any more) they were still MADE IN THE USA.. where as Nikes are not.
