Because I have never used a newer to new Direct TV dish system I had no idea the new receivers were all wireless?
I know dish has a joey system and that's wireless but those are different than a regular receiver
The HR44 does have wireless internet capability. With additional equipment it can also connect to the wireless Mini Clients.
For us receiving internet (wireless) programming is impractical. No cell providers and virtually no CG WiFi can support the bandwidth and data requirements for TV programs. Your mileage may differ.
