We have the full length dirt skirt, and maybe the standard ones behind the tires??? I know the fronts are there, I think the rears have them too.
I have a love/hate relationship with the dirt skirt. There are times it's a maintenance pain in the tail, then there are the times it saved the towed.
Best example of why I like it is...
On our trip to Yellowstone, we were on the NYS Thruway, it was dark and traffic was fairly heavy. All the sudden there was a big road gator, sitting squarely in our lane. With the traffic there was no way to avoid it. I straddled it, hoping for the best for the MH, figured the towed wouldn't fare so well. Much to my surprise the gator hit the dirt skirt and kicked to the ditch. The dirt skirt was damaged and dragging, but nothing else was hurt.
We pulled off the road and wired it up until we could get to our stop for the night - a Wal-Mart, where I bought a drill, a big hammer, and an assortment of nuts and bolts. I fixed it in the parking lot that night and we enjoyed the rest of the trip.
Since then I've fixed that darn thing at least 4-5 more times.
I'm not a big fan of fixing it, but I'd rather fix that instead of what else might need fixing.
Yeah, I'll keep it.
