My RV uses a 130 amp alternator that costs $129 at Rockauto for a remanufactured one. I had my working alternator rebuilt at a local shop who I've used before and it cost me $75. I had it rebuilt more because it was 21 years old and had spent about 15 years in the New York rust belt. It only had about 64K on it and may have had many carefree years left in it - but so did the engine and look at what happened to it :(.
