If you're planning on staying in the Moscow/Pullman area over the winter it would be best to find a RV park that is opened all year. Don't worry about the generator because you'll be plugged into the grid. Put skirting or hay bales around the bottom. Insulate the windows with quilted material. It'll feel like a cave but you'll make in through the winter.
Trying to live on the street or on public land will be expensive, because of fuel for the generator,difficult, noisy and cold.

I've searched for all year parks and they are all asking astronomical amounts for rent. Luckily one of my friends may be able to help me out with a spot with water/electricity for around $200 a month. That's doable on my budget, so it may work out!!
I've figured that I can procrastinate on the generator for a little while haha! I was thinking about putting styrofoam along the bottom with a skirt, but the hay bales actually sound like a great idea! Thanks for that! I definitely plan on getting cozy in this rig.
