The only thing that matters is if it makes you happy. Many of us started small and basic. I spent many happy years tent camping. Still prefer it for true wilderness camping but at 74, not doing much of that anymore. I like my roomy 38' and king bed. For a lot of folks its a lot like owning boats. You start with a small one and then "move on up". Small costs less and goes places big can't. But big is more comfortable especially if you stay in it a lot. Last year I spent a night at a RV Park in Penn. On my left was a lovely tag axle DP. On my right was a tiny tear drop shaped trailer hitched to a pickup (and they had a huge Golden Retriever). Now who was the happiest? Dam if I know. But one of those tiny campers would never work for me. Especially with a big ole shaggy dog squeezed in. Gotta smell like a dog house. My guess is somebody who was happy in a class C would be even happier in a small MH.
