Thor handed this guy a pile of dung and a lot of you are saying be careful, don't slander them. Really? We should all be defending mastercraft and starting a pool to defend him. At the end of the day, his concerns are our concerns.
Remember, truth is a 100% defense to slander. I agree with keeping the emotions out of it, but darn it, this guy was wronged and probably hundreds of other buyers are being wronged and aren't speaking up for fear of reprisals.
$150,000 is a lot of money for most folks and when you have the expectation of a certain quality and don't get it, you are going to be disappointed. Furthermore, he realizes that he can't simply reverse his decision without losing $50,000 - $60,000. Give the guy a break.
In hindsight, I'm sure Mastercraft would have bought a better quality used DP for the same price or a better quality new gasser had he known what he was getting into, but he's done our community a huge favor by publicizing his experiences.
