Holstein13, I also find it interesting. Our toad is so much lighter than yours at 3,400 lbs.
I accidentally left our previous 2007 Honda's engine running while towing it behind the Dynasty from Palm Springs, CA, to Phoenix, AZ, 4 or 5 yrs. ago. I looked at the MPG's on the Honda's instrument read-out and I was getting 55 mpg while the engine was running in neutral (air was on).
I probably had previous miles on the tank but that's what it ended up showing.
So, how did you figure your 133 mpg?
I'm thinking you are calculating the difference from 7.1 to 7.5 over your towing miles. You are figuring that the tow uses and average of .4 mpg while being towed from the coaches mileage.
