All of that means nothing if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. People have experienced theft from their RV's and people traveling in RV's have been murdered.

Situational awareness is your best weapon. If something just doesn't feel right, it is time to go somewhere else.
Overall, the rate of crime is declining and that may be because of more police, better video surveillance, more citizens armed, etc.
Should you worry about it??? NO
Should you be aware of the possibility of becoming a victim of crime???? Yes
Read this post couple of times. Very good info. Don't worry but always be aware of your surroundings. Many victims walk into things they could have avoided by being aware. I try not to drive at night. That is the time you are more likely to encounter drunks or tired drivers on the highway. JMO as a retired LEO..
