Mystery Electrical box under dash

The switch is on the dash. I know how to use it I just realize the control box would be tied into the ecu.

Some of the Underdrive/overdrive units were engaged by pushing what looks like the OLD style headlight metal dimmer switch mounted on the floor where the drivers left foot would rest close to the firewall. See if you have such a switch. Doug

I think that's it, MrWizzard. The MH IS equipped with a US Gears underdrive unit. I can't believe I didn't put two and two together.

UNDRIVE

Look under the MH for a gear box between the transmission and drive shaft

Sounds like and aftermarket under drive for extra hill climbing torque

And that is the control box
