Absolutely she is female. We have owned three Born Free's and they are all females. Our present one is" Rover", named after a dear departed dog - but so appropriate in so many ways. "Rover" was also the name of the first we lost in a flood. Our second was "Golly" as an "Golly, what have we done buying a second one."
