NCRVDA RV Show in Charlotte

We are planning to go the Charlotte show on January 24. We have never been to a show before so can someone tell me what to expect? I looked at the website hoping to see what vendors would be there but none were listed. I have seen some pop up on Twitter though. Hopefully we will be able to attend some of the seminars. We are only planning to be there for one day.

Again, thanks for your input. I am learning so very much on this forum! Now to pass it on to my husband!

What can you expect at Charlotte’s North Carolina RV and Camping Show, February 21-23? For starters, our Charlotte show covers 200,000 square feet—50,000 more than the other local RV show—with more than 200 recreational vehicles on display and plenty of room to check them out. Our premier location, the Charlotte Convention Center, is a newer, safer and more convenient facility, with the added bonus of being attached to the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

More RV dealers doesn’t necessarily translate to better deals. Camping World, the sponsor of Charlotte’s North Carolina RV and Camping Show, is the largest RV dealer in the country, with a nationwide network that can take care of RVers wherever they travel. The Camping World connection and large volume of show sales mean we can offer outstanding pricing.

Our company runs more than 25 recreation-focused consumer shows throughout North America, and ours is the longest-running RV show in Charlotte. We also have a certified RV education expert on hand to give unbiased answers to customers’ RV-related questions, right at the show. If this isn’t enough to persuade you to attend Charlotte’s North Carolina RV and Camping Show over the competition, consider attending both, then deciding which is best.

Been to yours. Never again. Not worth the hassle of going up town, Poor parking, high cost, and less choices. I learned my lesson.

Enjoyed the NCRVDA show MUCH more. Better every thing, including prices

Depends on which Charlotte show you are going to. The one uptown is run by Camping world, and really doesn't have a lot of RVs.

On the other hand. The one at the Park Expo on Independence Boulevard, (the NCRVDA) Has a lot more to see. Just about every NC RV Dealer will be there, (With the exception of CW) and have their best stuff. There are 3 showrooms to walk thru, with the largest RVs in the upper hall, With the largest Motorhomes, and 5ers outside.
There are seminars, and shows to sit thru. Also, most all of the better campgrounds will be represented, and you can register for free camping.

It is a fun day, And you can see all the latest, and greatest. Think it was year before last. They had one of the Motorhome that has the car carriers under it. Just drive the car onto a platform, and it slides under the MH. There were NASCAR RVs with sundecks on top to watch races from. Even one TT that had like a popup screen room on top.

    I recommend it.

    x1
The one that is downtown in the convention center is a very poor show to go for your first RV show IMHO.

  • It's easy to do in a day. We went last January to Charlotte's RV Show. They had a nice variety, but nothing in the higher end 5ers that we like. We got there shortly after it opened and were done by lunch. We could have had time to go to the NASCAR Museum across the street, but didn't want to spend the extra.

It's all in one building, so the only outside walking is from the parking lots to the front doors. We had to park on a private $ parking lot with our dually.
