Workhorse purchased the chassis business from GM and did continue building the P32 chassis. The W series chassis is a whole different thing. We had a Bounder on the P32 chassis and now a Winnebago on the W22 chassis. It's a good chassis and parts are available when needed. I would think your neighbor should have the paperwork on the recall if it was done. If not there is a Workhorse sub-forum on another site. A user there can run the VIN to see if there are any outstanding recalls on the chassis. BTW Workhorse was purchased by Navistar.
