If I recall correctly there are some Youtube videos on winter camping - I seem to recall someone in a trailer in ND. Working during the boom. I think he needed gobs of propane and electricity as you stated just to keep the inside in the 40's or 50's.
We've had ours out in the high teens, low 20's and the furnace ran continuously like you said.
