Paul, when Steve finds screws on the floor instead of installed where they belong, how is that the fault of the American corporation? A worker is lazy, therefore the mfr is greedy? I don't see the logic. Sounds like something Engels or Marx would have written.
My dad was a supervisor in the Chrysler plant during WWII when they were building tanks for the war effort. He knew workers who would clock in and go find a quiet corner to tale a nap. In the storeroom. On the roof. Guys coming in drunk. All while we were in a fight to end all fights for our own freedom and safety. Was it Chrysler's fault that some people have no conscience or no self control? The anxiety gave Dad an ulcer. He could not stop the irresponsibility.
