Need a new mattress

Have decided if we are going to sleep the night thru, we must replace the mattress that came with our Beaver coach. The problem is the size! Apparently it is a custom size (70x80). Called Monaco, they were very helpful and gave me the name of the maufacture in Marysville, WA. Just above Everett.

Slumber Ease Mattress Factory. Slumber Ease Mattress Factory Called and spoke to the CEO/President, Nick Rothrock. He could not have been more helpful. Over a few emails and a couple calls, figured out what we wanted in both size and comfort.

Around a $1000 for ours. He had the factory custom build, package and ship directly to us. Everything went perfect. Such a surprise, that never happens!!

Call him at 800-548-0960. Email Slumber@premier1.net.

Did this in January 2015 and have been sleeping very well since.:)

  • We were in Yuma for a week or so a couple of years ago and wanted a new mattress as the old one was the original that came with the RV. Found Mattress Warehouse and they were great to work with. They delivered the new short queen mattress to our park, brought it into the RV, and took the old one away. They also sell RV furniture at reasonable prices. Good place to do business!

I gave some thought to a memory foam mattress, but I didn't feel comfortable with a mattress remembering things that I'd rather forget.

  • When we got the Bounder in 05, we spent about 10 days straight sleeping in it, and that Fleetwood mattress was brutal...

Got home and went to the Original Mattress Factory and had them build us a custom mattress based on desired firmness and the fact that we were not going to use a box spring.

Still enjoy sleeping on that mattress..
  • Haven't bought it yet, but this one will be my choice as it has so many of the features I'm looking for, the main one is much less $$$ than average: RV sized mattress...
  • ya, we dumped that crappy old sleep number mattress and went with one fromBed in a Box.
We purchased the gel memory foam model sized for our RV. Great bed, we love it. We normally sleep on a firm stearns & foster but this is just as good.
