- xctravelerExplorerWe stored at Ironwood RV Storage in April 2014 for less than a month. Cost less than parking the car near the airport for the same time. Place is secure, clean and neat. Lots of RVs mostly mid to high end and many boats. We had electric and ISTR there was a dump as well. People were pleasant.

We enjoy cruising and we snowbird. If it was me, what I would do is look for a rv park about 100-200 miles away. I would then look for a hotel that has a cruise "park and stay" package. The night before the cruise I would get the hotel room, wake up to a nice free breakfast, jump in their shuttle van for the short trip to the cruise terminal, and then do my embarkation with a cocktail in hand.
One week later step off the ship, pull out the cell phone, call the hotel to come pick me up at the terminal. Throw the luggage in the toad and drive to the rv park.

About 40-50 mi N of the port though. - sehunterExplorerHave you checked with the cruise line? About ten yrs ago I took a week cruise out of Long Beach and parked my motorhome in their parking lot which I believe was enclosed with a fence.
- cjosephExplorerWe parked our MH in the long term lot at the Bob Hope Airport for a day stop. It looked pretty safe. They charged by how many spaces you take. I was able to squeeze my 35-footer into two front to back spaces. We had a little overhang but the place wasn't crowded. Public transportation should be at hand at the airport, I would think? We had the Toad.
- WinnipegExplorerI don't think the Soledad resort will work very well, public transit in LA is not good, and it is about 2 hours (by car) from the cruise terminal.
There are storage places near the cruise terminal, you can taxi/Uber from there.
For example, check out the following link:

We've also stayed at the 1000 Trails Wilderness Lakes in Menifee (south of Riverside) and left the rig to go cruising. Don't know what the costs would be for non-members (or even if they'd do it for non-members), but worth a call or two.
Acton would be the most convenient to the cruise dock. As I recall, there's also a KOA near Acton that might work out . . .
