3-5 minutes seem reasonable, but most leave them running for 15 or more minutes, and heard them run for almost 30. They turn them on and they havent even disconnected water and sewer. I would never think to start my truck before I was disconnected at least. Also, why do you need the motor to be running to get slides in? Cant you get them in by being plugged in?
No I'm not quiting rving for this reason although we've been on the road for 2 yrs, one the past in the pandemic and we've had enough. Way to many people with rv's anymore, its just not like it used to be, but I do appreciate finding out that its not me being to stupid to figure out why people leave there rigs running so long, but sadly then that means there are many more stupid people out there. lol lol
