  • This one is less expensive AND better designed to be a coach/house battery:

  • SCADAMAN29325,

I would not use a starter battery for the "house".

An SiO2 could be used in that manner. But you may not like the price.
  • That's the wrong type of battery to use as a house battery. It'll work ok, but a deep cycle battery will withstand discharges better and apples to apples last longer as a house battery. Idk if you can still get a true deep cycle only 12V battery as most are "Marine/Starting/Deep cycle" but at least they have thicker plates and will last longer than a pure cranking battery like you're looking at.
And the onboard generator will start off of any 12V battery basically. It's just a little lawnmower engine. Any 100ah deep cycle will crank the generator over without issue.
  • You get what you pay for.
The battery you show is a starting battery with a CCA rating. Its not a coach battery that will stand up to being charged and discharged repeatedly. Battery life will be reduced and it will deplete its Amps sooner than a deep cycle battery.
Look at the specs of batteries in their description. Read the weight. You will notice that a starting battery will weigh less than an equal size deep cycle bc the deep cycle will have heavier plates. Thats what you need.
65n is about 47 lbs. grp 31 agm hybrid deep cycle is 69 lbs.

I would be looking for something like a Deka agm 100ah hybrid deep cycle battery It will start your genny, no problem. Deka 8A31DT AGM Battery
