need guidance o used prices

I am shopping for a 1 to 4 year old Tiffin Allegro Bus. I know that I can buy new for 25 to 30 percent off of MSRP. When I look at used is there any guide at all I can use ? Will NADA help me at all? I know I can compare prices all over . Any ideas?

If you go to RVT or RV trader and look at all the wishful thinking of asking prices, then make a purchase, for one that's like new, in the ballpark of 10% under NADA low retail, you should be good. Even less if it needs tires or other work and even at this price, you should get a PDI thrown in. Just be careful if the PDI is done by the same fox that's guarding your chicken house.
A consignment dealer is best for this, but you may find a private seller, that's not underwater or on a cloud somewhere.
  • “You probably won't find a used 2017, but you may be able to get a deep discount on a new one still on the lot.”

We just bought a new 2017 toy hauler for less than what a used 2016 was going for because they needed to clear the new inventory. Both rigs were equivalent in features and quality. I would not have thought this until I experienced it.

Good luck. I have an uncle on the lookout for a similar rig as you.
  • Go to RVT and RVTrader and put in the specs for the coach. Average them out and take 20 percent off that number. Start there.

  • Nada is a guide line, but as with any RV there are two things thst dictate prices. Condition, and what someone is willing to pay.
