Need Help w/ Winterizing - water pump not working

I've been through the steps to winterize, but my pump isn't working right and won't pump the pink stuff to the sink, tub our toilet. Here's what I've done: Drained and plugged off the hot water heat...

So you put four gallons in the tank. That can get expensive. I can do mine with one gallon. Just take the hose from the input side of the pump and replace it with a short piece of hose that goes into the bottle. No muss no fuss
