We think the best campground in Denver is one in Golden off Colfax Rd. We stayed there for 2 months while waiting to get into a new home! Dakota Ridge is a 10* rated resort! You can also visit Downtown Golden, one of the best towns in CO for tourists and the Coors Brewing CO tours!!!
PS: Scott and Karla, we stay 2 months in the winter @ Campland Mission Bay and visit your town of Ramona for side trips. Small world.
